Description

The NaveniBright HRP kit is an in situ proximity ligation assay kit. The kit enables chromogenic visualization of protein-protein interactions or post-translational modifications such as phosphorylation and ensures high specificity when localizing single proteins. The kits can be used for cultured cells, fresh-frozen, and FFPE samples. For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.

Compatible with traditional immunostaining equipment, the kit uses secondary antibody detection to produce an amplified signal in a chromogenic dot. Visualize the signal with a bright-field microscope. The NaveniBright HRP kit is based on our Naveni® in situ proximity ligation technology, with two Navenibodies conjugated to proprietary oligo arms. The technology ensures specific and sensitive detection; learn more about our Naveni® platform.

Precise target localization with intact tissue morphology

Correct localization of proteins is critical for understanding and treating many diseases. The quality of in situ protein detection assays depends mainly on the specificity of the antibodies used against the target. Pathologists require intact cell and tissue morphology to confirm cancer cell type and origin of metastatic cancer. Therefore, the “gold standard” for clinical histopathology is enzyme-based chromogenic immunohistochemistry (IHC) of formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue. However, the quality of the IHC method relies mainly on single antibodies. Many commercial antibodies have low specificity to the targets, generating unspecific background staining resulting in misleading results. The Naveni® Proximity Ligation Technology is based on dual antibody recognition, increasing the specificity leading to the correct local precision of the target.
