Description
Omni is a multiplex in situ proximity ligation assay with a fluorescent readout, enabling the simultaneous detection of up to 9 protein–protein interactions, post-translational modifications, or single protein targets with high specificity and sensitivity. The technology is validated for use in human FFPE tissue samples*.

To allow as many researchers as possible to access the technology, Omni is available as both a ready-to-use customized kit for in-house experiments, and a full-service offering performed by Navinci experts.
Omni is built on Navinci’s proprietary in situ proximity ligation technology, using target-specific primary Navenibodies conjugated to proprietary oligonucleotide arms. Each target is recognized by a unique pair of Navenibodies – either binding two different proteins to detect interactions, or two distinct epitopes on the same protein for highly specific single-target detection. When bound in close proximity, the oligonucleotides generate a strong, amplified fluorescent signal. Distinct fluorophores enable simultaneous detection of multiple targets within the same sample.

*It is very important to use a mounting medium that is compatible with the assay as some available products will reduce or even remove the signal. For the Omni kit we recommend the non-hardening mounting medium SlowFade™Gold Antifade Mountant.
