Assessing differential expression of protein interactions and RNA by combining isPLA and HCR™ Pro RNA-FISH automated assays

A collaborative effort between Navinci and Molecular Instruments explored how the Molecular Instruments HCR™ Pro RNA-FISH can be combined with the Navinci isPLA, and then be fully automated on the BOND RX by Leica Biosystems.

Navinci and Molecular Instruments present a combined HCR™ Pro RNA-ISH and isPLA assay, enabling precise co-detection of RNA transcripts and protein-protein interactions within the same tissue sample. The assay supports both single and dual-plex RNA-ISH, in this example targeting PPIB and then PD1 and PD-L1, providing deeper biological insights. This integration allows simultaneous analysis of multiple RNA molecules and protein interactions, conserving time and valuable samples. The scalable, high-performance approach is particularly beneficial but not limited to immuno-oncology, advancing biomarker studies and therapeutic discoveries by linking RNA expression to functional protein interactions.
